Continuous ambient noise recordings require mastering HPC services

Our projects typically require high storage space (> 10 TB) and computational power (> 100 CPUs).

At Sisprobe, we work with a french mesocenter hosted by University of Grenoble Alpes.

Noise data processing to obtain tomographic images of the subsurface,
Ambient noise-based time-lapse monitoring of the studied target,
Final images use surface wave and/or body-wave tomographic inversions from noise-based reconstructed virtual seismic sources,
Use of natural seismic sources (earthquakes) for imaging and other subsurface properties (velocities, etc.),
Seismicity studies.
